Terms of Service

Huntly lets organisers create team scavenger hunts and live quizzes that participants join from a web browser, with no app download. The Service is currently offered as a free beta and is provided “as is” while we continue to develop it.

You need an account to create games. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and confirm it before using organiser features. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing on others’ rights
• Upload or distribute content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit
• Collect personal data from participants beyond what your event genuinely requires
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service
• Resell or white-label the Service without our written permission

As an organiser, you are the controller of any personal data you collect from your participants and are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for informing them appropriately.

You retain ownership of the games, questions, and other content you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you create and for ensuring you have the rights to use it.

The Service is in beta. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that data will be preserved indefinitely. We recommend keeping your own copy of any important content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or events arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, and disputes are subject to the courts of the Czech Republic, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
