Cookie Policy

This policy explains the small amount of browser storage Huntly uses. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so we do not show a tracking-consent banner.
1. Strictly necessary storage
These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off:
- Authentication cookies (set by our authentication provider, Supabase) — keep organisers signed in to their account.
- “team_id” and “team_sig” — let a participant stay in their team during a game; “team_sig” is a signed value that prevents tampering. Expire after about 7 days.
- “qa_voter” — records a one-time, anonymous vote in audience Q&A so the same person can’t vote twice. Expires after about 7 days.
2. Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count aggregate page views and understand which pages are useful. This does not set tracking cookies, does not identify you, and does not follow you across other websites.
3. No advertising or third-party tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party trackers. Because we only use strictly necessary storage plus cookieless analytics, no consent banner is required under EU rules.
4. Managing storage
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or prevent you from staying in a game.
